Interestingly, the first legs are scheduled for February 18,19, 25, and 26, with the second legs to hold on March 10,11,17 and 18, 2019.



Match 1: Borussia Dortmund vs Paris-Saint Germain

Match 3: Atalanta vs Valencia
Spanish giants Valencia will face Champions League new side Atalanta in the round 16 after both teams successfully scaled through the group stage hurdle.

And as usual, it is going to be a tough match as Valencia hope to use experience to knockout their opponents.



Match 4: Atletico Madrid vs Liverpool
Defending champions Liverpool will hope to consolidate their threatening presence and replicate their brilliance in Europe again after being drawn with Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.

Jurgen Klopp led the Anfied dwellers to their historical 6th UCL trophy with a narrow victory over Premier League rivals Tottenham at Wanda Metropolitan Stadium.

Liverpool will hope to do it again when they face Diego Simeone's men in February.


Match 5: Chelsea FC vs FC Bayern Munich
Chelsea beat FC Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena to win their first Champions League in 2012 with Blues legend Didier Drogba leading the historical moment for the Premier League giants.



Frank Lampard, who was part of the history, will hope to replicate the epic show when he guides his young side against the Germans. But can they tame Robert Lewandoski?

Match 6: Lyon vs Juventus
Juventus have a chance of booking a spot in the UCL stage with Ronaldo leading the attack-line alongside Paulo Dybala.

The Old Lady almost realized their dreams last season only to lose to Ajax whose young machines staged a miraculous outing on the European biggest stage. And of course, they will hope to make history this time.

Match 7: Tottenham vs FC Leipzig 
JoseMourinho will face the herculean task of leading Tottenham to their dreamland when they face RB Leipzig in their next champions league fixture.
Spurs lost to Liverpool in Spain last season's final but they will hope to replicate their brilliance again under their new Portuguese boss.

Mourinho has won two Champions League trophies as a manager. He will hope to make history again this season.


Match 8: Napoli vs Barcelona 


Barcelona have been impressive this season and they will hope to unleash their terror on the Italian giants who are presently going through turbulent time after the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti. The Spanish champions almost got to the final after a stellar show at Camp Nou last season, only to surrender their first-leg win to Liverpool at Anfield. Ernesto Valverde's men will hope to avoid the mistake that ruined their outing last season.
